Please join the Motor City Badgers to
  Serve the Homeless with ARK Detroit!

You are welcome to bring donations of clothing, blankets, backpacks, food, umbrellas, and necessities.

We will be assisting ARK with Free Store Giveaways.  The Impact Youth Group will be bringing and serving food!

1:15 PM  Gather in Roosevelt Park across from the old train station
1:30 PM    Set up tables & chairs, clothing & supply bins, & food
2:00 PM    Serve the Homeless Food, Clothing, Supplies, & Fellowship
3:15 PM    Pack up
4:00 PM    Badgers at Mercury Burger Bar
   ABOUT ARK Homeless Services: Every Saturday, Karen provides food, clothing, necessities, 
   fellowship, and resources in front of Michigan Central Station on Michigan Avenue @Roosevelt Park

  •    Every Saturday: 1 PM Set up tables and chairs, bins of clothing, supplies, food; 2 PM Serve.
  •    Special Saturdays before these holidays: Memorial Day; July 4; Labor Day; Thanksgiving; Christmas.
  •    Holiday Special Saturdays:  Grill Food +  Gifts
  •    Number served: Bad weather - 30+; Good weather - 60 to 80

   Help build oak shelving in a storage unit in Dearborn to house supplies for the homeless. 
   The ARK has a 10' x 30' storage unit in Dearborn Heights. Contact: Yvonne (734) 686-1438.
        (1) Assemble 20' shelving racks; (2) Open donation bags and sort contents; (3) Launder donated clothing; 
        (4) Organize into produce boxes [Men's, Women's, Shoes, Toys, Belts-Bags, Gifts, Toiletries];
        (5) Empty trailer; (6) Wash tables;  (7) Restock trailer; and
        (8) Need help the week before holidays; (9) Help: Monday, Tues. &  Thur. 8 am - noon; Sat. 9 - noon.
